Roseland Station Extraction Pad Project

Sealed bids for the completion of the Roseland Station Extraction Pad New Construction project will be received by the Board of Fire Commissioners of the North East Joint Fire District. It shall be the sole responsibility of the bidder to ensure prompt delivery of the sealed bid pursuant to directives outlined in this Notice to Bidders.

Obtaining Contract Documents:

Cost per set plan set is a non-refundable fee of $35.

In lieu of paper bid sets, bidders can view electronic plans and specifications online at recplanroom.com and download all associated files for a nonrefundable fee of $59. Visit www.recplanroom.com (Click Public Jobs under the Menu Tab on the left-hand side of the plan room homepage). Once you are in the public plan room, please select the link for North East Joint Fire District.

Subcontractors, material suppliers, etc., can obtain drawings and specifications in the same manner or request copies through prime contractors. Contractors are responsible for bidding and reviewing all the documents included in the package. Successful bidder will provide their own additional copies. All addenda and or changes will be provided electronically as well.

Bid Submission: Due Date: Friday, February 23, 2024 Local Time Due: 12:00 noon.

Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope noting contractor’s name, address and phone number and be addressed to the Owner (NEJFD), Attention: Steven C. Small. If sent via US Mail, bid must arrive in the post office box by February 23, 2024, at 12:00 noon local time.

With appointment bids may be submitted in person up to February 23, 2024, at noon local time, at:

Bid Opening: Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at the North East Joint Fire District, Enderlin Station, lower level training room, by the Owner at 1:00 pm local time, on February 23, 2024.

Addenda: Any addenda issued prior to the bid time set forth in the Notice to Bidders will become part of the Contract Documents.

Taxes: The Owner is exempt from payment of sales and compensation use taxes of the state of New York and of Cities, County and other subdivision of the state on material sold to it pursuant to the provisions of this contract. Therefore, bidders should not include sales tax on materials incorporated into the project within their bid proposals.

Requirements-Rights: All Bids shall remain firm and effective for forty-five (45) days from date of opening. Attention of bidder is called to the requirement of condition of employment and to the minimum wage rate and prevailing rate requirements to be paid under these contracts. The Board of Fire Commissioners of the North East Joint Fire District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and the right to waive any informality.
