The Village of Watkins Glen will receive sealed bids for the Village of Watkins Glen Clute Park
Expansion Project
Sealed Bids will be received and bids publicly opened and read at the following place and time:

Base Bid: Installation of gravel roadways, water services, sanitary services, and electrical services
associated with the expansion of the park grounds.
The foregoing is a general outline of work only and shall not be construed as a complete description
of the work to be performed under the contract. Plans and specifications are available for inspection
only at the following location:

Documents can be obtained via physical mail by request and upon non-refundable payment of one
hundred ($100) dollars for each set of documents requested. Check for Plans and Specifications
shall be made payable to the Village of Watkins Glen. This option is only available through Dec 6,
2022.
Bidding Documents also may be examined online with an online payment by visiting

The successful bidder(s) must self-perform at a minimum 50% of the contracted work.
Bids must be made in writing on the forms furnished and shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee
for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid in accordance with the
INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS.
The Village of Watkins Glen is exempt under New York State Tax law, and therefore, no sales tax on
the cost of materials incorporated into the project shall be included in the bid.
The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and labor and
material bonds in accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS.

The Village of Watkins Glen reserves the right to consider bids for forty-five (45) days after the receipt
before awarding any contract. The Village of Watkins Glen further reserves the right to reject any and
all bids, and to accept any Proposal or individual item or items, which it may deem to be the most
favorable to its best interests.
All bidding questions or Requests for Information must be submitted by 5:00 pm on Dec 5, 2022.
