ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS (N.Y. PUBLIC WORK)

THE FRIENDSHIP CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT

Invites bids for GENERAL CONSTRUCTION, ROOFING, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL,

and ELECTRICAL Work for the 2024 Capital Improvement Projectat the Main School

Buiding located at 46 West Main Street, Friendship, New York and the Bus Garage located at

14 East Water Street, Friendship, New York.

Separate sealed bids will be received by Friendship Central School District at 46 W. Main

Street, Friendship, NY 14739 , until 2:00pm local time on December 4, 2025 , at which time

they will be publicly opened and read aloud. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to ensure

that the bid is received at the designated location prior to the designated time for opening bids.

Printed copies of Bidding Documents will be available as of November 4, 2025. Copies of the

Bidding Documents may be obtained by Prime Contractors,Subcontractors and Vendors, at

Rotolite Elliott Corporation, One Grove Street - P.O. Box 97, Pittsford, New York, 14534,

Phone (585)385-1463, upon deposit of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per set. All document

deposit checks shall be made payable to Friendship Cental School District and mailed to

Rotolite Elliot Corporation at the above address. (Credit card payments will not be accepted).

All bid document requests can be completed through the www.recplanroom.com in advance

for pickup and or shipping from Rotolite Elliott Corporation.

In Lieu of paper bid sets, bidders can view and download electronic plans and specifications

online upon a $59.00 non-refundable payment by visiting www.recplanroom.com. Just click

All Public Jobs under the Menu Tab on the left hand side of the plan room homepage. Once in

the public plan room, please select the link for Andover CSD 2023 Capital Improvement

Project. (Upon download, said entity will be added as a legitimate plan holder on the job and

will receive electronic files of any bid addenda issued throughout the bidding process.

A Prebid meeting for all bidders will be held at Friendship Cental School, 46 West Main

Street, Friendship, NY 14739 on November 13, 2025 at 10:00am local time. Prospective prime

bidders are requested to attend. It is recommended that bidders be familiar with the contract

documents prior to attending the scheduled pre-bid meeting.

A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of Base Bid is required and

must accompany proposal. Performance Bond and Labor Material Payment Bond equal to one

hundred percent (100%) of Contract Sum are required to be delivered at time Contract is

signed with Owner.

No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) days after date of bid opening.

Attention of the Bidder is particularly called to the following:

- The Owner's sales tax exemption.

- The minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract.

- The requirements pertaining to certification of Non-Collusion in preparation of proposals

submitted for this Project.

- New York State Contractor Registry - In compliance with New York State Department of

Labor requirements a copy of the Contractor Registration Form shall be submitted with the

bid.

Bidders will comply with New York State prevailing wage and supplement requirements.

The Friendship Central School District hereby reserves the right to waive any informalities and

reject any or all Bids or to accept the one that in its judgment will be in the best interest of

Friendship Central School District .
