DOCUMENT 001113 - ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

1.1 PROJECT INFORMATION

A. Notice to Bidders: Qualified bidders may submit bids for project as described in this Document. Submit bids according to the Instructions to Bidders.

B. Project Identification: Town of Macedon – Gravino Park Electric Update & EV Charger Installation

1. Project Location: Gravino Park Renovation 135 West Main Street Macedon, NY 14502

C. Owner: Town of Macedon, 32 West Main Street, Macedon, New York 14502.

1. Owner's Representative: Scott Allen, Town Engineer.

D. Architect: LaBella Associates, D.P.C., 300 State Street, Rochester, N.Y, 14614.

E. Project Description: Project consists of installation of new electric service equipment, underground conduits and conductors, and electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment.

F. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work:

1.2 BID SUBMITTAL AND OPENING

A. Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows:

NOTE: Bidders who previously submitted a bid package to the Town of Macedon for this project do not need to resubmit unless they wish to make revisions to their existing package. The original bid opening did not occur, and all previously submitted bids remain valid.

1. Documents Issued for Bid Date: Wednesday, October 1, 2025

2. Bids Due by Time: Wednesday October 22th, 10:00 a.m., local time.

3. Location: Town of Macedon, 32 West Main Street, Macedon, New York 14502. Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud. 1.3 BID SECURITY

A. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.

B. PREBID MEETING

1. Owner and Architect will conduct a Prebid meeting as indicated below:

Location: Gravino Park Route 31 Macedon NY.

1.4 DOCUMENTS

A. Printed Procurement and Contracting Documents: Obtain on or after Wednesday, October 1

by contacting Rotolite Elliott. Only complete sets of documents will be issued.

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is the Town of Macedon, 32 West Main Street Macedon, New York, 14502. Prospective Bidders may obtain the Bidding Documents from Rotolite Elliott, 1 Grove Street, Pittsford, NY 14534; (585) 385-1463; M-F, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the above locations. Documents may also be viewed online with a non-refundable online payment by visiting www.recplanroom.com (click Public Jobs under the Menu Tab on the left-hand side of the plan room homepage). Once in the Public Jobs plan room, select the link for this project.

Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the above locations. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the above.

A. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time stipulated in SECTION 006100.01 Owner-Contractor Agreement.

1.6 BIDDER'S QUALIFICATIONS

A. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
