The Town of Palmyra (The Town) will be accepting Bids for landfill closure and related infrastructure
at the Old Palmyra Landfill. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Erosion and Sediment Control Measures;
General Earthwork;
Low Permeable Soil Cap System
Leachate Interception Trench; and,
Revegetation
Bidding Documents, consisting of Bid Instructions, Bid Forms, Contract Documents, Technical
Specifications, and Drawings, will be available beginning May 12, 2025 at the following locations:

Prospective Bidders may also obtain the Bidding Documents from Rotolite Elliot (1 Grove Street,
Pittsford, NY 14534; (585) 385-1463; M-F, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) upon payment to Rotolite Elliot at
cost of printing. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to Rotolite Elliot. Bidding Documents
may also be viewed online with a non-refundable online payment by visiting www.recplanroom.com

Public Jobs plan room, select the link for this project. Copies of the Project Documents can be
obtained beginning about May 12, 2025.
A mandatory Pre-Bid conference will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at the Town
of Palmyra office located at 1180 Canandaigua Road, Palmyra, NY 14522. Bids will be due by
2 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at the Town of Palmyra Town Hall at the address provided
above located in Palmyra, New York. Award will be made in the best interest of Town of Palmyra,
and the right to reject any or all bids and proposals, and to waive informalities in bids is reserved.
The successful bidder shall be a Contractor, with a Qualified Credentialed Professional (QCP) issued
by the New York Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), who has experience
constructing landfill closure systems, and is familiar with the particular requirements of landfill
construction. AGC form 220 will be used to evaluate the Bidder’s experience record.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All questions or
requests for information must be submitted by 5:00pm on May 28, 2025.
