Separate sealed proposals, will be received by, SEI Design Group, via Email on behalf of the Penn Yan Central School District Board of Education for the roofing portion of the following project.

A separate proposal is requested for the Contract 101: Roofing Contract

• The Architect for the Project is: SEI Design Group, D.P.C., 224 Mill Street, Rochester, NY 14614.

• The Construction Manager for the Project is: Watchdog Building Partners, LLC, 3445 Winton Place, Suite 102, Rochester, NY 14623.

A Pre-Proposal walk-thru conference shall be held at the Penn Yan Central School District, Watchdog Building Partner’s Construction Trailer, on campus between the Penn Yan Elementary School and the Penn Yan CSD Maintenance Building, at 10:00 A.M., local time, on Thursday, April 25, 2024, for the purpose of touring the building to review the existing conditions and considering Bidders’ questions.

Contract Documents can be obtained on or after Friday, April 19, 2024, at Rotolite-Elliott Corporation, One Grove Street #123, Pittsford, NY, 14534 (585-385- 1463). Upon payment of a deposit of $100 per set, and a separate, non-refundable $45 shipping and handling payment for each set (deposit checks shall be made payable to Penn Yan Central School District, shipping check made payable to Rotolite-Elliott Corporation). Alternatively, bidders can provide their UPS or FedEx account information.

In lieu of shipping, Contract Documents may be obtained in person at Rotolite-Elliott Corporation upon payment of a deposit of $100 per set (deposit checks shall be made payable to Penn Yan Central School District).

In lieu of paper bid sets, bidders can view electronic plans and specifications online based on the specific charges established by the print house. Proposals shall be provided in PDF format on company letterhead noting the TIPS contract being utilized for this project. Contact Paige Holenbeck at CAS for the correct TIPS contract number. The Board of Education hereby reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any or all proposals or to accept the one that in its judgment will be for the best interest of the school district.

No bid bond is required to be submitted with the proposal. The District plans to receive a reward recommendation at their May 8 board meeting, letters of intent will go out on May 9, 2024 and that date will be used as the date for an AIA based Owner Contractor agreement.

Attention of the Bidders is called to the requirements as to the conditions of employment and minimum wage rates to be paid under this Contract as well as to the provisions set forth in the Instruction to Bidders. Work shall be commenced and continuously and diligently prosecuted immediately after contracts have been signed.
