MECHANICAL, and ELECTRICAL Work for the 2022 CIP – Phase II project located at 3968
Washington Street, Scio, New York, 14880.
Separate sealed bids will be received by Scio Central School District at Scio CSD Main
Building, until 10:00 am local time on December 21, 2023, at which time they will be publicly
opened and read aloud. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to ensure that the bid is
received at the designated location prior to the designated time for opening bids.
Printed copies of Bidding Documents will be available as of Wednesday, November 15, 2023,
@ 5:00PM. Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained by Prime Contractors,
Subcontractors and Vendors, at Rotolite-Elliott Corporation, One Grove Street – P.O. Box 97,
Pittsford, New York, 14534, Phone: (585)385-1463, upon deposit of One Hundred Dollars
($100.00) per set. All document deposit checks shall be made out to Scio Central School
District and mailed to Rotolite-Elliot Corporation at the above address. (Credit card payments
will not be accepted).
All bid document requests can be completed through the in advance for
pickup and or shipping from Rotolite-Elliott Corporation. (Visit the and

In Lieu of paper bid sets, bidders can view and download electronic plans and specifications
online upon a $59.00 non-refundable payment by visiting Just click All
Public Jobs under the Menu Tab on the left-hand side of the plan room homepage. Once in the
public plan room, please select the link for Scio CSD 2022 Capital Improvement Project -
Phase II. (Upon download, said entity will be added as a legitimate plan holder on the job and
will receive electronic files of any bid addendums issued throughout the bidding process.

A Pre-Bid Meeting for the Project will be conducted by the Architect/Engineer on November 30,
2023, at 10:00 am, local time, at Scio CSD Main Building.
The Scio Central School District hereby reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any or all Bids or to accept the one that in its judgment will be in the best interest of Scio
Central School District.
A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of Base Bid is required and
must accompany the proposal. Performance Bond and Labor Material Payment Bond equal to
one hundred percent (100%) of Contract Sum are required to be delivered at time Contract is
signed with Owner.
Attention of the Bidder is particularly called to the following:
1. The Owner’s sales tax exemption.
2. The minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract.
3. The requirements pertaining to certification of Non-Collusion in preparation of proposals
submitted for this Project.
No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) days after the date of bid opening.
Bidders will comply with New York State prevailing wage and supplement requirements.
