ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
A. THE Town of Naples invites bids for, GENERAL CONSTRUCTION Work for Town of Naples,
Highway Garage Renovations located at 6892 Tannery Creek Road, Naples, NY 14512.
Separate sealed bids will be received by Morgan Riesenberger, Town Clerk at 1 06 South
Main Street, Naples, NY 14512 until10:00am., local time on Friday May 26, 2023, at which
time they will publicly opened and read aloud.
B. Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained by Prime Contractors, Subcontractors and
Vendors, on Thursday May 4th, 2023 at 12:00pm at Rotolite Elliott, One Grove Street, PO Box
#97, Pittsford, NY 14534, upon deposit of Fifty Dollars($50.00), made payable to The Town of
Naples for paper documents. Include, in addition to the paper document deposit, a nonrefundable
check payable to Rotolite Elliott in the amount of Fifty-Five Dollars ($55.00) per set,
for handling and postage of sets to be mailed.
C. In lieu of paper bid sets, bidders can download electronic plans and specifications online for
Fifty-Nine Dollars ($59.00) non-refundable payment made to Rotolite Elliott. Visit

H. A Pre-Bid Conference for the Project will be conducted by the Architect/Engineer (Construction
Manager) on Thursday, May 18, 2023, 10:00am, Highway Garage, 6892 Tannery Creek Road,
Naples, NY 14512. the last day for questions to be submitted is Friday May 19,2023 at
2:00pm.
I. A Bidder whose bid is accompanied by a certified check or other security in accordance with
the bidding requirements and public advertisement, and who returns a complete set of Bidding
Documents to Rotolite Elliott in good condition within thirty (30) days following the award of the
Contract covered by such Bidding Documents or the rejection of such bid, shall receive a
refund of the full amount of the deposit for (1) copy of the Bidding Documents. Partial
reimbursement in an amount equal to the deposit for (1) set of the Bidding Documents, less the
actual cost of reproduction of the Bidding Documents, shall be made for the retum of all other
copies of the Bidding Documents in good condition within thirty (30) days following the award of
the Contract or the rejection of the bids covered by such Bidding Documents.
J. Bids shall be prepared as set forth in “Instructions to Bidders”, enclosed in a sealed envelope
bearing on its face the name and address of the Bidder and the title of the Work to which the
bid enclosed relates. Each Bidder shall deposit with its bid, security in an amount not less than
five percent (5%) of the base bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the
“Instructions to Bidders.” No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the
actual bid opening.
K. The Owner reserves the right to waive any and all informalities in or to reject any or all bids.
The Owner further reserves its right to disqualify Bidders for any material failure to comply with
