ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Village of Clyde will receive sealed bids for the 2023 Roadway Improvements.
Sealed Bids will be received, and bids publicly opened and read at the following place and time:

Clyde, New York 14433
Date: May 12, 2023
Time: 2:00 pm, local time
Base Bid: consists of milling and repaving approximately 1,600 SY of existing roadway and 5
driveways, along with the installation of minor drainage improvements such as catch basins and
storm drains.
The foregoing is a general outline of work only and shall not be construed as a complete description
of the work to be performed under each contract. Plans and specifications are available for
inspection at the following location(s) and may be obtained upon payment of seventy-five ($75)
dollars for each set of documents requested.

Check for Plans and Specifications shall be made payable to the Village of Clyde.
If you would like Plans and Specifications mailed to you, please enclose an additional check for
twenty-five ($25) per set made payable to Rotolite Elliott. This option is only available through
Rotolite Elliott.
Bidding Documents also may be examined online with an online payment by visiting
www.recplanroom.com (click Public Jobs under the Menu Tab on the left hand side of the plan room
homepage. Once you are in the public plan room, please select the link for the 2023 Roadway
Improvements.
The successful bidder(s) must self-perform at a minimum 50% of the contracted work.
Bids must be made in writing on the forms furnished and shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee
for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid in accordance with the
INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS.
The Village of Clyde is exempt under New York State Tax law, and therefore, no sales tax on the cost
of materials incorporated into the project shall be included in the bid.
The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and labor and
The Village of Clyde reserves the right to consider bids for forty-five (45) days after the receipt before
awarding any contract. The Village of Clyde further reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to
accept any Proposal or individual item or items, which it may deem to be the most favorable to its
best interests.
All bidding questions or Requests for Information must be submitted to Justin Petsos
(jpetsos@labellapc.com) by 5:00pm on May 5th, 2023. Questions or requests for additional
submitted after this date / time may not receive a response.
