THE WHEATLAND-CHILI CSD INVITES BIDS FOR GENERAL CONSTRUCTION,
MECHANICAL, AND ELECTRICAL WORK FOR THE 2022 SECURE ENTRANCE PROJECT,
LOCATED AT THE JUNIOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL – 940 NORTH RD., SCOTTSVILLE, NEW
YORK 14546. SEPARATE SEALED BIDS WILL BE RECEIVED BY WHEATLAND-CHILI CSD
IN THE CENTRAL OFFICE ON THE 3RD FLOOR, AT 13 BECKWITH AVE., SCOTTSVILLE,
NEW YORK 14546, UNTIL 3:30 P.M., LOCAL TIME ON 09-29-2022
1.01 PROJECT INFORMATION
A. Notice to Bidders: Qualified bidders may submit bids for project as described in this
Document. Submit bids according to the Instructions to Bidders.

F. Project Description: Project consists of renovation to the main office to construct a secure
entrance vestibule along with main office renovations.

G. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work:
1. Multiple Contract Project consisting of the following prime contracts:
a. General Construction.
b. Mechanical Construction.
c. Electrical Construction.
1.02 BID SUBMITTAL AND OPENING
A. Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given
below. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders
issued by Owner, and delivered as follows:
1. Bid Date: 9/29/2022
2. Bid Time: 3:30pm local time.
3. Location: Central Office on the 3rd Floor at TJ Conner Elementary School, 13
Beckwith Ave., Scottsville, New York – 14546

B. Bids will be thereafter publicly opened in the TJ Conner Elementary Board Room.
1.03 BID SECURITY
A. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of [10%] ten percent of the bid
amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of  forty-five days after opening of bids.
Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and
1.04 PREBID MEETING
A. Prebid Meeting: A Prebid meeting for all bidders will be held at Junior Senior High School,
940 North Rd., Scottsville, New York 14546 on September 19, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. local time.
Prospective prime bidders are requested to attend. It is recommended that bidders be familiar
with the contract documents prior to attending the scheduled pre-bid meeting.

deposit of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per complete set. Bid deposit checks shall be made
payable to the Wheatland Chili Central School District and mailed to Rotolite-Elliott
Corporation at the address provided above. (Credit card payments will not be accepted.)

for pickup and or shipping from Rotolite-Elliott Corporation. (Visit the

in the public plan room, please select the link for Wheatland Chili CSD 2022 Secure Entrance
Project. (Upon download, said entity will be added as a legitimate plan holder on the job and

1.06 TIME OF COMPLETION
A. Successful bidder shall begin the Work upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall
complete the Work within the Contract Time.
A. Attention of the Bidder is particularly called to the Owner’s sales tax exemption, the
requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and the minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. In addition, the Bidding Documents for this project contain
detailed requirements for the qualification of Bidders. These include, among other things,
rigid bonding and insurance requirements, financial statements, bank references, lists of
lawsuits, arbitrations or other proceedings in which the Bidder has been named as a party, a
statement of surety’s intent to issue Performance and Payment Bonds, and a description of
other projects of similar size and scope completed by the Bidder. Bidders will comply with
New York State prevailing wage and supplement requirements which must be complied with
on the Project.

A. The Wheatland-Chili CSD hereby reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any,
or all, Bids or to accept the one that, in its judgement, will be in the best interest of
