ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Town of Victor will receive sealed bids for the 2022 Pump Station Improvements Project Phase 1
(PS-7).
Sealed Bids will be received, and bids publicly opened and read at the following place and time:

Time: 9:00 am, local time
Base Bid: The project consists principally of the replacement of an existing pump station with a new
8’ diameter submersible pump station & 6’ x 6’ valve vault. The project also includes the
installation of approximately 55 linear feet of 4-inch force main, installation of approximately 8 linear
feet of 12-inch gravity sewer, installation of a new generator and generator pad, installation of a new
control panel, installation of a light stone swale, installation of a driveway area around the pump
station.
Alternative 1: This portion consist principally of replacing the existing 6” ACP forcemain from the
intersection at East Victor Road to the receiving manhole at the intersection of McMahon Rd with
approximately 600 linear feet of 6” directionally drilled HDPE forcemain, installation of 2 air release
valves, and the abandonment of approximately 600 linear feet of ACP forcemain.
The foregoing is a general outline of work only and shall not be construed as a complete description
of the work to be performed under each contract. Plans and specifications are available for
inspection at the following location(s) and may be obtained upon payment of seventy-five ($75)
dollars for each set of documents requested.

The successful bidder(s) must self-perform at a minimum 50% of the contracted work.
Bids must be made in writing on the forms furnished and shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee
for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid in accordance with the
INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS.
The Town of Victor is exempt under New York State Tax law, and therefore, no sales tax on the cost
of materials incorporated into the project shall be included in the bid.
The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and labor and
material bonds in accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS.
The Town of Victor reserves the right to consider bids for forty-five (45) days after the receipt before
awarding any contract. The Town of Victor further reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to
accept any Proposal or individual item or items, which it may deem to be the most favorable to its
best interests.
An optional Pre-Bid meeting will be held on Monday, September 13, 2022, with all contractors
assembled at 1:00pm at PS-07 pump station.
All bidding questions or Requests for Information must be submitted by 5:00pm on Thursday,
September 15, 2022.
Contractors are required to complete and submit the following forms with their bids:
• Section 004314 – Site Investigation Certificate
• Section 004519 – Non-collusive Bidding Certificate
• Attachment A – Qualification’s Statement
