Sealed Proposals for the following project:
CANANDAIGUA CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT
2022 CAPITAL OUTLAY PROJECT
will be received at the Canandaigua City School District, Canandaigua Operation Center located at 5500
Airport Road, Canandaigua, NY 14424 until 3:00 PM on August 18th, 2022. Bid opening will take
place at 3:00 PM in the Operation Center where they will be publicly read aloud.
Bids must be made in writing on the forms furnished.

CONTRACT TYPE
This project will proceed under One (1) Lump Sum Prime Contract including:
Contract # 101 – Mechanical (HVAC) Work
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Replace fume hoods, acid storage cabinets and roof top exhausts.
CONTRACT TIME
The date of commencement of the Work shall be within five (5) calendar days of the date of Notice to
Proceed.
The Contractor shall achieve Substantial Completion of the entire Work not later December 31st, 2022.

BID DOCUMENTS
Drawings and Specifications will be available for pick up August 1st, at Rotolite Elliot ; 1 Grove St #123,
Pittsford, NY 14534 upon receipt of a bid deposit of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for each set of
documents requested. Checks shall be made payable to Canandaigua City School District.
Bid documents, if requested, will be mailed to Bidders upon receipt of deposit and reimbursement for the
cost of mailing. Mailing fee for one set is $35.00 for UPS delivery. Check shall be payable to
Canandaigua City School District.

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)
RFI’s are due to Jessie Woughter (jwoughter@labellapc.com) by August 12th, 2022 by 5 pm to be
answered and included in the final addendum.
REJECTION AND ACCEPTANCE OF BIDS
The OWNER hereby reserves the right to waive any informality and reject any or all bids or to accept the
one that, in its judgment, will be in the best interest of the OWNER.

BID SECURITY
A Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany the bid in accordance with
the Instructions to Bidders.
NONCOLLUSIVE BIDDING CERTIFICATE
A non-collusive bidding certificate shall be included on each bid.
PREVAILING WAGE RATES
This is a prevailing wage rate job.
RETURN OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS
Any Bidder, upon returning the Bidding Documents in good condition within thirty (30) days after date
set for Bid opening will be refunded his deposit.
