ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Town of Irondequoit will receive sealed bids for the 2022 Sanitary Sewer Replacement (Town
Bid No. 2022-03) project.
Sealed Bids will be received, and bids publicly opened and read at the following place and time:

Time: 10:00 am, local time
The project consists principally of the installation of approximately 2,000 lineal feet of 8-inch
diameter PVC sanitary sewer and approximately 1,500 lineal feet of sewer cured in place piping to
replace the existing sanitary sewers in kind including sanitary manholes, laterals, cleanouts
appurtenances, and site work.
The foregoing is a general outline of work only and shall not be construed as a complete description
of the work to be performed under each contract. Plans and specifications are available for
inspection at the following location(s) and may be obtained upon payment of seventy-five ($75)
dollars for each set of documents requested.

If you would like Plans and Specifications mailed to you, please enclose an additional check for
twenty-five ($25) per set made payable to Rotolite Elliott. This option is only available through

Refunds for payment of one (1) copy of the Plans and Specifications will be made to those
submitting Bids on the forms furnished, if returned in good condition to the Town Clerk within thirty
(30) days from the award of the contract.

2022 Sanitary Sewer Replacement

The successful bidder(s) must self-perform at a minimum 50% of the contracted work.
Bids must be made in writing on the forms furnished and shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee
for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid in accordance with the
INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS.
The Town of Irondequoit is exempt under New York State Tax law, and therefore, no sales tax on the
cost of materials incorporated into the project shall be included in the bid.
The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and labor and
material bonds in accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS.
All bidding questions or Requests for Information must be submitted by 5:00 pm on June 2, 2022.
