The Town of Irondequoit will receive sealed bids for the Amerige Park Pump Station Replacement
Project (Town Bid No. 2022-02)
Sealed Bids will be received and bids publicly opened and read at the following place and time:

Time: 10:00 am, local time
Base Bid: The project consists principally of the replacement of an existing suction lift pump station
with a new ± 24’ feet deep submersible pump station and other appurtenances.
The foregoing is a general outline of work only and shall not be construed as a complete description
of the work to be performed under each contract. Plans and specifications are available for
inspection at the following location(s) and may be obtained upon payment of seventy-five ($75)
dollars for each set of documents requested.

Check for Plans and Specifications shall be made payable to the Town of Irondequoit.
If you would like Plans and Specifications mailed to you, please enclose an additional check for
twenty-five ($25) per set made payable to Rotolite Elliott. This option is only available through
Rotolite Elliott.
Bidding Documents also may be examined online with an online payment by visiting
www.recplanroom.com (click Public Jobs under the Menu Tab on the left hand side of the plan room
homepage. Once you are in the public plan room, please select the link for the Amerige Park Pump
Station Replacement.
Refunds for payment of one (1) copy of the Plans and Specifications will be made to those
submitting Bids on the forms furnished, if returned in good condition to the Town Clerk within thirty
(30) days from the award of the contract.
The successful bidder(s) must self-perform at a minimum 50% of the contracted work.
Bids must be made in writing on the forms furnished and shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee
for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid in accordance with the
INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS.

The Town of Irondequoit is exempt under New York State Tax law, and therefore, no sales tax on the
cost of materials incorporated into the project shall be included in the bid.
The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and labor and
material bonds in accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS.
The Town of Irondequoit reserves the right to consider bids for forty-five (45) days after the receipt
before awarding any contract. The Town of Irondequoit further reserves the right to reject any and all
bids, and to accept any Proposal or individual item or items, which it may deem to be the most
favorable to its best interests.
All bidding questions or Requests for Information must be submitted by 5:00 pm on April 20, 2022,
last day for addendums is April 21, 2022.
An optional Pre-Bid meeting will be held on Thursday April 14, 2022, with all contractors assembled
at 9:00 am at the Amerige Park Pump Station.
Contractors are required to complete and submit the following forms with their bids:
· Section 004314 – Site Investigation Certificate
· Section 004519 – Non-collusive Bidding Certificate
· Attachment B – Qualification’s Statement
