SECTION 001112– ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

The Allegany-Limestone Central School District invites bids for, GENERAL CONSTRUCTION,
SITE, MECHANICAL, PLUMBING, and ELECTRICAL, for the 2020 Capital Improvements
Project located in Allegany, New York. Separate sealed bids will be received by Allegany-Limestone
Central School District Office at, 3131 5 Mile Road, Allegany, New York until 10:00am local time on
February 3rd, 2021, at which time they will be opened and read aloud via virtual presentation.

Bidding Documents may be examined in the Office of the Architect/Engineer, CPL, at 130 South Union
Street, Suite Four, Olean, NY 14760, 716-701-7004 and at the Program Facilities Managers Office at

Hard copies of the Bidding Documents may be purchased by Contractors, Subcontractors and Vendors,through Rotolite-Elliott 585-385-1463 for the nonrefundable cost of $50, which checks for shall be made out to ALLEGANY LIMESTONE CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT and delivered or mailed to Rotolite Elliott Corporation P.O. Box 97 One Grove Street Pittsford,NY 14534. Bidders requesting drawingsets shipped via UPS or FEDEX are required to provide their shipping numbers to Rotolite-Elliott, priorto shipping. A Pre-Bid Conference for the Project will be conducted by the Architect/Engineer on January 18th, 2021 at 10:00am at the Elementary School, 120 Maple Ave, Allegany, New York. It is recommended that contractors be familiar with the construction documents prior to attending the scheduled pre-bid conference.
Allegany-Limestone Central School District hereby reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any or all Bids or to accept the one that in its judgment will be in the best interest of Allegany-Limestone Central School District
Attention of the Bidder is particularly called to the Owner’s sales tax exemption, the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and the minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. In addition, the Bidding Documents for this project contain detailed requirements for the qualification of Bidders. These include, among other things, rigid bonding and insurance requirements, financial statements, bank references, lists of lawsuits, arbitrations or other proceedings in which the Bidder has been named as a party, a statement of surety’s intent to issue Performance and Payment Bonds, and a description of other projects of similar size and scope completed by the Bidder. Bidders will comply with New York State prevailing wage and supplement requirements which must be
complied with on the Project.
