NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that THE COUNTY OF SENECA, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as the “COUNTY” a municipal corporation of the State of New York, with principal offices at 1 DiProno Drive, Waterloo, New York will receive sealed bids for the Construction of Renovation of the Administration Building at the Sampson Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 6632 NY-96A, Romulus, New York. Prime contracts will be awarded for General Construction, HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical Construction and Furniture and Installation. Such sealed bids must be filed with Seneca County,
Office of the County Manager, 1 DiProno Drive, Waterloo, New York until 2:00 p.m., on March 14, 2019. All bids will be publically opened and read.
The work involves the interior construction of a former firehouse building for use as an Administration Building for the Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery. The work will involve interior partition construction, new wall, floor and ceiling finishes, new doors and hardware, installation of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems and removal and replacement of an existing standing seam roofing system and furniture purchase and installation.
There will be a prebid meeting at 10:00 AM on Tuesday February 26, 2019 at the project site. This will be the only opportunity to view the project site.
Bidders can obtain copies of the plans and specifications at Rotolite Elliott Corp. 1 Grove Street No. 123, Pittsford, NY
14534, 585-385-1463 for a refundable deposit of $100.00 for the first set only (U.S. FUNDS). Deposit Checks must be
made payable to “Seneca County”. A separate, non-refundable payment of $45 for shipping and handling for each set shall be made payable to Rotolite Elliott Corp. Alternatively, bidders can provide their UPS or FedEx account information to Rotolite Elliott Corp.
Bidders requesting additional sets of plans must submit a separate nonrefundable check (payable to Rotolite Elliott
Corp.) for $100.00 per each additional set. Bidders returning plans and specifications in good condition following the bid will receive a refund of their deposit (for one hard copy set only). Bidders requesting delivery or mail service shall be responsible for all costs and are required to coordinate arrangements with Rotolite Elliott Corp.

Plans and specifications may be reviewed at the office of the Architect, T. Y. Lin International at 255 East Ave, Rochester, NY 14604, 585-512-2000.
Each bid shall include a bid bond in the amount of 5 % of the total bid offered by the vendor. Said bid bond shall be in the form of a certified check or bond and is required to be included with the bid submittal. A Non-collusive Bidding Certification, NYS Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire (CCA-2) and IRS W-9 form shall be submitted with the bid.
Seneca County reserves the right to waive any informality in the bid, or to reject all bids, or to accept any bid, which in the opinion of the Board of Supervisors, will be in the best interests of the Owner.
No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within forty-five (45) days after the date set for the opening thereof.
